Transportation

We all need to move, but that doesn’t mean we all need to have our own car. Ursinus offers many ways to get around campus and the community so you can keep moving, keep greening, and keep healthy, all while leaving your car at home.

There are many places you can visit in Collegeville.  The Perkiomen Trail runs right by the Ursinus College campus with access points all across Collegeville, on Main St and even off of 9th Avenue.  The Perkiomen trail is 19 miles and crosses through 10 municipalities, runnning from Green Lane Park to Oaks, at the junction of the Schuylkill River Trail

Idling on Campus

Did you know that idling your car is not allowed on campus?  This rule applies to individual cars as well as buses.  So turn off your car when you are waiting.  Of note, it is dangerous to sit in an idling car because of carbon monoxide poisoning.  Be respectful AND safe.  Turn off your car.

Radio Interview about Transportation

In 2014, Brandon Hoover was interviewed on the local program Comment Please about transportation issues and our office in general.
