Use the four core questions to reflect on how we can be a community of independent, thoughtful, leaders ONLINE as well as in person. **This is your next #BearTracks assignment** During this time of cultural crisis, where so many people are voicing opinions, identifying different issues, and promoting various action items online - - what are YOU doing? Reflect on the four questions to answer that question. #ursinusquest #ursinuscollege #newbears #ursinus2024 and #allbears #bethechange #bearsofinstagram

Foe those in the area: Please join Ursinus College, Collegeville Borough, Collegeville Borough Police Department and Aidsand "Ace" Wright-Riggins: Mayor of Collegeville, PA for a memorial for George Floyd on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Collegeville Community Park. There will be prayer, reflection and a period of silence recalling George's last words, “I can’t breathe.” This event is for all who desire to express their sorrow and disappointment while also expressing their commitment to help bring equality to our community, county, commonwealth and country in a non-violent and civil manner.

So many injustices for so long - including disparities that have significant impacts on the physical health and the mental health of black communities felt in entirely different ways than the rest of our society. George Floyd, may he rest in peace, was the tip of the iceberg that (hopefully) will sink the Titanic that is institutionalized and societal racism. Taking care of your mental health is so important especially right now when there is so much to grieve and process. Reach out to Wellness or our office for support and resources. Also, follow @ayana_therapy - a great resource that matches marginalized communities to therapists who share their background
