Faculty and Staff
To ensure we implement consistent guidelines for working on campus, human resources and the COVID-19 task force recommend a series of considerations that should occur at the individual, divisional and institutional level. Taken collectively, they provide an outline for sensible and practical practices that promote safety and better hygiene.

Returning to Campus and Working Remotely Spring 2021
All divisions have been asked to continue to support remote working, staggering and rotating shifts as necessary, to meet student needs and to complete essential operations. Employees for whom it is possible to work from home should do so consistent with the mitigation orders issued by the Governor of Pennsylvania and PA Secretary of Health. When such orders are lifted, employees for whom it is possible to work from home should do so until the campus reaches the black phase of the college’s phased returned to campus. All employees should regularly monitor the faculty/staff landing webpage for the latest information. Major changes to these guidelines will be communicated to faculty and staff by email and be posted on the website.
Self-Assessments and Temperature Check Stations
Faculty and staff coming to campus are encouraged to complete the self assessment each day prior to arriving on campus. The tool is accessed via the MobileU app, Safety and Emergencies tab. MobileU is available in the Google Play and Apple app stores.
If you will be working on campus, you must take your temperature upon arrival to campus. Temperature check stations are located in each building. Do not come to work if you have COVID-19, exhibit any of the symptoms of COVID-19, or have had close contact with someone who has exhibited the symptoms of COVID-19 within the 48 hours after contact. Notify your supervisor if you have symptoms or have had close contact and stay home.
