I joined the Reimagine Project to be a part of the direct action that will help guide our community to be more sustainable. For my last year at Ursinus, I am hoping to pursue a project that focuses on making our buildings greener to help connect the Ursinus community to nature when indoors. I am a rising senior at Ursinus College studying biology, studio art, and ethics. I am also part of the Sustainability Fellows Program as a Green Building Fellow. (she/her/hers)

I wanted to join the Reimagine project effort ever since I heard about it from the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania’s Environmental Policy Director Kathy Cook. These projects’ focus on local action, collaboration, and sustainable policy and practice is a mission that I strongly support. At Ursinus, I am a Bonner Leader, Model UN delegate, Writing Fellow, Melrose Fellow, and President of the Alpha Delta Phi Society. (she/her/hers)

Initially, I was asked to help host the first Reimagine forum at Ursinus College by friends. The collective aspirations and sense of community that first attracted me are now motivating me to lead a team to acquire funding for the installation of a multifunctional rain garden at the center of Ursinus College’s campus!

I first heard about the Reimagine Project through Olivia’s connection through the League of Women Voter’s. I was excited by the whole concept of working towards a more sustainable society and I thought of all kinds of ideas—-realistic and a little too idealistic. I’m currently a senior at Ursinus College studying Environmental Studies and Biology, with the aim of working in the agricultural field. (he/him)
