We have a full schedule of events and programs to celebrate our students and families. We hope you will plan to join us throughout the day.

Hospitality & Registration Tent Your destination for questions and the Family Weekend welcome wagon! Families can check-in for the picnic lunch; view maps and schedules; and pick up UC swag.

Selfie Station

 Take time to capture this moment! Families can enjoy a UC photo station with photo props.

Zacharias Ursinus Statue

This is a self-service photo station. Don’t forget - your fellow Bears can assist with your family photo op.

Campus Walking Tours

Enjoy a guided tour featuring our newest buildings and beautiful grounds.

Tours sponsored by the office of admission.

Stuff-a-Bear

Enjoy a fun, hands-on craft with the office of student engagement! Stuff-a-Bear is fun for the whole family. 

10:30 a.m. - noon Love Statue (outside Lower Wismer)

Registration not required - while supplies last.

Stuff-a-Bear will be held outdoors under a pop-up tent. 

Picnic Lunch

Join us for fall themed lunch with fellow UC families featuring lawn games and music.

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Berman Lawn under the tent

Berman Museum Exhibition Tours Berman Museum staff offer an exclusive tour of current exhibitions,

including Christo & Jeanne-Claude: The Tom Golden Collection, Andrea Modica: Theatrum Equorum, Innominate: Selections from the Permanent Collection and Bahar Behbahani: Immigrant Flora Rising Under.

Berman Museum of Art

Registration required for tours.

Note: Family-friendly scavengers hunts for indoor exhibitions provided all day long.

Sculpture Walking Tours Enjoy a guided tour of the museum’s extensive outdoor sculpture collection led by Berman Museum staff.

Parents Leadership Council Hosted Tailgate for Families

The Parents Leadership Council welcomes families to the Bear Den with UC swag and lawn games. This tailgate includes complimentary food, beverages and enter to win one of three themed raffle baskets.

11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Parents Leadership Council Tent (located next to Ritter Hall and Patterson Field)

Celebration of Student Achievement (CoSA) Learn about what our students are researching in and out of the classroom. Pick among both students exhibiting their research data on posters and students offering short presentations. 1 - 1:45 p.m. First Floor, Innovation and Discovery Center

Meet & Greet with President Hannigan and College Leadership Families are invited to join President Robyn Hannigan and members of college leadership for a dessert reception and conversation. 2 - 3 p.m. Berman Lawn under the tent

Organic Farm Tour Take a walking tour of the college’s organic farm and learn more about its butterfly garden and seasonal harvests. Meet our sustainability fellows and learn about the office of sustainability and its current initiatives. 3 p.m. Tour departs from classroom tent next to Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center

23rd Annual Fringe Festival

 

 

The Fringe Festival is supported by the Arts and Lectures Fund.
