Ursinus has three different change of status options for students. Please read the descriptions below and select the change of status that fits your situation.
Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA)
Students may experience medical situations that significantly limit their ability to function successfully or safely in their role as students. In those situations, students can request a medical leave of absence (MLOA). A MLOA allows students to take a break from College life and their studies for the remainder of the semester. After receiving treatment students can request to return to the College with an enhanced opportunity to achieve their academic and co-curricular goals.
Leave of Absence (LOA)
Students may encounter circumstances other than medical, that require them to take time away from the College. A leave of absence (LOA) allows a student to take the needed time away.
Students planning to transfer or leave the College permanently may request a Withdraw.
