Faculty & Staff Giving

As faculty and staff, you invest your time and talent in the college and our students every day. By making a gift to the college, you further express your belief in our students and the future of Ursinus.

Your support is so important, not only because your gift directly enhances the student experience, but also because faculty and staff giving percentages can impact the college’s ability to receive other gifts and grants from outside corporations, foundations and other notable institutions and individuals.

Ways to Give

Payroll Deduction

Many faculty and staff find giving through payroll deduction to be the most convenient way to make a gift. By spreading your pledge over multiple, ongoing payments, payroll deduction contributions can quickly add up to a substantial gift.

To sign up for payroll deduction, simply complete the form. Please Note: Payroll deduction gifts may be terminated at any time by completing this form.

Give Now by Credit Card

The online giving form is fast, safe and secure. The college accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Recurring Credit Card Gift

Recurring credit card gifts are an easy way to make a big impact that works for your budget and schedule. Set up your recurring gift online using our recurring gift form. Please Note: Recurring gifts will be automatically deducted and will continue until we are notified otherwise. If you have questions, or would like to stop or adjust your recurring gift any time, please call the advancement office at 610-409-3585.

Quotes from Colleagues

“Every gift, no matter how large or how small, shows our institutional pride and solidarity.” -Richard Kohn, Technology Support Specialist

“I give because of Douglas Cameron, who passed away in August of 2015. He was an inspiration to me; his professional and personal interests and his incredible strength while suffering a devastating disease. So, when I give to Ursinus, it is to honor his memory and help keep the tradition of a liberal arts education alive.”

-Yvon Kennon, Administrative Assistant, Modern Languages, Philosophy & Religious Studies

“Student revenues— tuition, room and board net of financial aid—provide funding for 82% of the distinctive educational and residential experience we call Ursinus College. Philanthropy — current giving through the Ursinus Fund and revenues from prior giving invested in our endowment — provide much of the rest of the funding that makes this top quality student experience possible. Those of us who work here daily can see the impact Ursinus has on the lives of our students. It is of great value to them and to those they serve today and throughout their lives. Giving to something I can believe in gives me joy. That’s why I give.” -Annette Parker, VP for Finance and Administration

“Three reasons I give to UC: 1. I wanted to create an award for a music student because we had none and at the same time honor the memory of my parents. 2. I understand the importance of letting outside funders know the college has support from its various constituents — alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and board members — as a way to make a strong case for support from those not directly associated with the college. 3. The future of Ursinus depends on ongoing philanthropy and especially during the Keep the Promise campaign.” -John French, Professor of Music

“I give because it’s important to lead by example. To ask alumni, parents and foundations to support UC and not do so myself seems disingenuous. I believe in the impressive impact the college has on its students and community and know that my gift to the Ursinus Fund contributes to that impact. I put my money where my mouth is.” -Heather O’Neill, Professor of Business and Economics

“I give to Ursinus because I think it does wonderful things for students and it’s a great place to work. It’s a great all-around community that’s constantly trying to get better.”-Scott Deacle, Assistant Professor of Business and Economics

“I give because of my commitment to the Ursinus family and to help support first-generation students, like me, who rely on the generosity of donors.”-Missy Bryant, Assistant Dean of Students, Ursinus Institute for Student Success

“Students at Ursinus are very active and eager; I give to support their ambitious journeys. If my small gift can help add to their successes, it is worth it!”-Alyssa Worrilow, Senior Assistant Director of Admission

“I give because I believe in the mission of Ursinus. We are educating students in a way that makes a profound difference in their lives. And we do it together; faculty and staff work closely to ensure that students receive the very best education in a variety of ways. As I always say…I am #UC PROUD!” -Laura Moliken, Director of Athletics

“I recently started giving as I have reengaged with the college. I would like to see students have the same opportunities that I was afforded with an Ursinus education. Ursinus prepared me well for a successful 30 year career.” -Maureen Cumpstone, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, U-Imagine Center for Integrative and Entrepreneurial Studies
