Annual Scholarship Fund

As a supporter of Ursinus College, you are able to make a significant difference in the life of a student through the Annual Scholarship Fund.

The college has historically and continually made a private, liberal arts education available to a wide range of students from across cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds with the goal of shaping a diverse and high-performing student body. By funding a term scholarship through the Annual Scholarship Fund, you are affirming that scholarship support for deserving students continues to be a key priority of the college. You will also know that your philanthropy is making a profound difference in the life of a specific student – the recipient of your scholarship.

As a donor through the Annual Scholarship Fund, you will be matched with a student who will receive a scholarship in your name or in the name of someone you would like to honor. You may indicate a preference for a student with a specific area of academic interest.

The funds will be awarded to a qualified student who demonstrates both academic merit and financial need. We will do our best to award your scholarship to the same student over multiple years, so you will be able to see the student’s progress and the true impact of your gift. We will encourage your student to send periodic updates to you, and we will offer opportunities to meet your student.

To make this difference in a student’s life, we ask a minimum commitment of $5,000 per year for at least five years. Your student will receive a scholarship in the same amount. You will receive recognition as a leadership Ursinus Fund donor, as well as the knowledge that you are helping make the “Ursinus Experience,” with its abundant opportunities for academic and personal growth, possible for your Scholar.
