About Ursinus College Athletics

There is no denying that athletics is an important part of the identity of Ursinus College. In fact, the college is an original charter member of the Centennial Conference, and is currently the only school in the Conference to compete across all 25 varsity teams, plus gymnastics. Roughly a third of our student body participates in athletics.

Our students thrive on the important lessons they learn on the field, on the court or in the pool, just as they do within the classroom. Last academic year, 85 Ursinus student-athletes were named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a credit to their scholastic aptitude. Athletics builds vital leadership skills, and teaches students the importance of perseverance and teamwork.

Annual giving through the Bruins Club ensures that Ursinus College Athletics continues to thrive. Gifts to the Bruins Club support the day-to-day function of our athletics program—from costs associated with equipment, to facilities upgrades, to coaching staff and referees, to the transportation that carries our teams to their next competitions.
